Bratislava!
We're going there next week. Good thing we're going in summer. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbcH_qYkeTc Only that exchange rate thing shows the movie is kinda outdated. My moderate german also suggest the truckdriver isn't all that well subtitled now and then. :D

I'm sure with the Danube running through the city and Vienna close by, you'll have a wonderful time. Nice video, though. He was speaking German?

He was speaking German? I recognised most of it and it sounded like german to me. Most of it is actually correctly translated too, as far as I can make out. The bit concerning the horse not, suprisingly. :) Even the american boy speaks the german as it's translated. Not sure how to judge it, not being german and all. Mine might be closer to that then I wish to know. :)

I'm sure with the Danube running through the city and Vienna close by Whats this crap! First of all, Bratislava is a beautiful city with gorgeous food. Second of all, the weather is far better than it is here in Dutchland. If you want depressing, just come here in summer. Finally, Vienna is all pretty wedding cake on top, but not really yummy and sink your teeth into when you get into it.

I loved that video. I've heard how inexpensive it is to eat in some of those cities.

Not so much nowadays though. Euro is official from 2009 in Slovakia and will be used alongside the Koruna from August.

I wasn't saying it wasn't a beautiful city. I think these things go together.

I love Bratislava. And the food is fabulous!

Ha, Lady RB is the one who made we watch that movie in the first place. She's been promising me great food ever since we made the plans to go there. :)

Mmmmmmmmm can't wait for the food! One more week to go! I'm going to have brinzove halusky and bread and schnitzel and cakes and vianocka and more bread and hopefully I'll score a jar of my grandmas homemade jam and parene buchty and savinac and perkel and paprikas and goulash and bread and more bread and cabbage soup. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm And did I mention I'm gonna have proper bread? Bread bread bread bread bread bread bread bread bread!!! We're going to take two half full suitcases with us so then I can fill one up just with bread to take back! :D
