Brian Eno in European think-tank for unified foreign policy
Brian Eno is one of the members of the founding council for this new group: The European Council on Foreign Relations was launched in October 2007 to promote a more integrated European foreign policy in support of shared European interests and values. With its unique structure, ECFR brings a genuinely pan-European perspective on Europe’s role in the world: * ECFR was founded by a council whose members include serving and former ministers and parliamentarians, business leaders, distinguished academics, journalists and public intellectuals. Yes - Interesting. It will be even more interesting to measure any achievements. They certainly have a good blend of political heavyweights and people from differing life experiences.

Oh, thanks Shake. Yeah, DeHaene is a Christian Dem, Joshka Fischer a Greenie and so is Özdemir, there are some social democrats and a liberal. I don't know about the rest of them, but it seems a pretty mixed bag politically too.

But the Dutch and French had thrown the treaty for EU constitution out(European constitution is like dead man walking). I don't see the European public ready for common foreign policy yet. I am all for it though.
