British overseas territories
One of these territories is bogus and one does not belong to the United Kingdom (not counting disputes with Spain, Argentina etc). All the others do. Which are they? * Akrotiri and Dhekelia * Alderney * Anguilla * Ascension Island * Bermuda * British Antarctic Territory * British Indian Ocean Territory * British Virgin Islands * Cayman Islands * Falkland Islands * Gibraltar * Guernsey * Herm * Isle of Man * Jersey * Montserrat * Northern Mariana Islands * Pitcairn Islands * Principality of Sealand * Saint Helena * Sark * South Georgia * South Sandwich Islands * Tristan da Cunha * Turks and Caicos Islands *inserts blank lines to encourage readers to decide before reading below* . .

The Northern Marianas are American. I'm going to guess that the P. of Sealand is what you say is bogus. But I'm not going to judge. :P

I thought everyone had agreed to lay aside their territorial claims in the Antarctic?

I think Herm is bogus. I might get shot for this but do we STILL hold the Falklands? (I know I know that I should know this but i was very young)

Or maybe the Principality of Sealand is bogus. That is a very silly name for a place.

Fr. Gruesome- 08-28-2009

Falklands still under British sovereignty ... with a much larger garrison to make the point.

Herm is not bogus - it is a lesser-known Channel Island :) I'm going with Sealand being the bogus one, and the Marianas being USA-ite
