It's all the fault of the Dutch

Can't say I smelled anything. I (well, my parents) live in a city in the middle of farmland and not crazily far from Germany.
And if the winds came over, you'd expect the smells to come here as well, right?
I think they passed over you and then dropped on Britain...
My newspaper this morning told me it was all the Germans' fault - something to do with not being able to spread slurry earlier, as it had been too cold
It was smelling pretty strongly here the last couple days. Didn't notice today. But then, today I spent the time amongst flowers and they smell purty. :D
No complaints - it just means another prime Skunk harvest on the way.
Occasionally you smell the stuff here, but not that regular or anything. Lady RB showed me an article about it too. Hilarious. Poor city dwellers, not even exhaust fumes can keep out the country now eh? :P The ban on spreading it in winter might be true actually.
But you have to remind yourself that we keep about 11 million pigs over here. And our considerable lack of surface area is not even all used for argicultural purposes. You want bacon, you get shit too. :)
