The Finland appreciation party
Wow this forum is dying! here is the Finland appreciation party. Everyone must come as a famous Finn - that'll test you - and bring a Finnish dish. Finnish will be spoken at all times by those that can. Finnish beer will be provided.
I wouldn't stand there .. that door opens outwards ;). But why aren't you coming?!
Can I bring a dish that isn't finished?
*ignores bad pun and says 'sure, bring whatever you like'* ;)
So do we have any finns in the house tonight?!
BTW i am having a vegetarian and vegan party on the HP forum tonight as well.. do all come :D
I believe Turumna Cheese is From Finland, and that's why it is so hard to find in Canada. If its available, I'll take a whole round of it I love it so much
I just love doing bad puns, hope you can stand it.
I'll come as Pastor Lordi! Blessings on this house!

To share, I've brought Breadcheese with Cloudberries!

ST, you are clearly doing an impersonation of a Finn! ;)
I have changed my sig back to the party one in honour of the FIVE AND A HALF HOURS I just spent at my in-law's barbecue party.
I have, naturally, come as myself. (just Google me, I am famous).
You're famous to us, Miisa. :)
Who is Pastor Lordi?
He won the Eurovision song contest, you uncouth infidel! Even Australians know that!
(Though he isn't actually a pastor)
Lordi! Everyone knows who Lordi are!
Hey, wave one of those juicy, succulent Pingu burgers closer to the door where ST is standing will ya?!
But .. Pingu meat is a delicacy! So subtle and delicate and juicy, with that black and white flavour!
besides, the skin makes for really dashing shoes..
Penguins are not eaten in Finland. You could be lynched for such suggestions.
*looks stern and firm*
Not each to make shoes? But .. just think of how stylish you would be!
But Reindeer meat is, and they are related to Moose. Dont we have some wine marinated roast moose from the Forest Party?
