My dad pointed out earlier that it was five weeks to Xmas day so I got my decorations out. I am not gonna put them up yet but I wanted to get it all sorted and untangled and see what still works etc. I thought that Pippin was gonna wet himself when I tipped the bag onto the floor but, mindful of the dangers of cats ingesting tinsel, I booted him out of the room Very Happy

I do love Christmas decorations!

We're "doing Christmas" this year. We take it in turns.

That's 6 adults, 5 children (actually one of those is 17 but we still think of him as one of the kids), and a one year old baby.

Heh Bill sounds like my family ... my brother and his wife (and now child) take it in turns to either come here or go to her parents. I rather suspect that they are planning on staying in their own home this year tho and I don't blame them one bit.

That's very shiny.
Every year they have a national contest here, to see whose house is decorated nicest (in other words: who has to spend most money on their electricity bill)
The contest is sponsored by an electricity company.

(There was PQ's flight, and Silver's Flight, and Dragon's Flight, and the trip to Cuba)
